§ 2. Adoption of map and districts.

  • Zoning regulations and districts as herein set forth are approved and established. The City of Sweetwater is hereby divided into fourteen (14) comprehensive classes of Use Districts, termed respectively: "A" Dwelling District, "B" Dwelling District, "C" Dwelling District, "D" Dwelling District, "E" Dwelling District, "E-1" Dwelling District, "F" Local Retail District, "G" Local Business District, "H" Business District, "J" and "K" Industrial Districts, "L" First Manufacturing District, "M" Second Manufacturing District, "R" Residential with Livestock District, all of which is fully identified upon the Zoning Map by each District's "alphabetical reference symbol" as indicated above, and which is adopted with and is declared part of this ordinance. All notations, references and other information shown upon said Zoning Map are hereby made a part of this ordinance, and shall be considered as much a part of the same as if the matters of information set forth thereby were all fully contained and described herein. Said map shall on its face be identified and verified in the manner following: It shall bear the title "Zoning Map of the City of Sweetwater, Texas"; it shall bear even date with the first reading of this ordinance; it shall bear the names of the City Commission, the City Consultants; and it shall be attested by the signatures of the Mayor and the City Manager. The original of said map shall be kept in the office of the City Secretary in the Municipal Building; and a replica thereof shall be reproduced upon paper in such reduced scale as will permit of such replica copy being pasted upon the [and] attached to a page of the ordinance records immediately following transcription thereon of this ordinance.
