§ 17-54. Location of junkyards.

  • A junkyard or an automotive wrecking and salvage yard, other than a junkyard or automotive wrecking and salvage yard used exclusively for farm equipment, may not be located within fifty (50) feet of the right-of-way of a public street or state highway or a residence.

    Materials associated with a junkyard or an automotive wrecking and salvage yard, other than a junkyard or automotive wrecking and salvage yard used exclusively for farm equipment, may not be allowed to accumulate or be stacked to a height above six (6) inches below the top of such screen.
