§ 5-4. Consumption in public places.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to consume any alcoholic beverage in any public street, thoroughfare or park designated for use by the general public.

(b)

It shall be unlawful for any person to consume any alcoholic beverage in any public alley or parking area designated for use by the general public in connection with any commercial or public facility.

(c)

The possession of any opened container of alcoholic beverage in any place prohibited by this section shall constitute prima facie evidence of the consumption of the alcoholic beverage at the prohibited place.
